The Committee of Defending Free, Just, and Uncorrupt Elections Criticize the Eighth Parliamentary Elections
|
|
"Aside from the general structural and legal difficulties of the eighth parliamentary elections in Iran, and objections made regarding the first round, including nezarat-e estesvabi (the support of some of the main institutions of public power, national media, and political parties needed in order to count votes), the Committee of Defending Free, Just, and Uncorrupt Elections has concluded that the second round of the aforementioned election was corrupt, unjust, and restricted. The second round of elections continued the violations and disruptive, unjust process of the first round of elections."
